I love the first movie and really like the second one and no, this one is not as good as either of those, but I felt like the drop in quality from the second one to this one was about the same as the drop from the first to the second. It definitely has problems like WAY too much CGI. There is just fake everything everywhere. Fake cars, fake gates? I really wanted to like this movie. I truly hoped that all of the awful things I had read and heard were, at least partially, exaggerated. That hopefully I would be one of the few that found something to really enjoy about this movie. I sincerely hoped that this would grab with the same levels of enjoyment and fear as the first two, now cult classic, films did.
